Settings
In order for the plugin to communicate with Miguel’s servers, it must be connected. This means creating an API key and inserting it into the plugin settings. The settings can be found in the admin area of your shop under WooCommerce > Settings and then the Miguel tab. Or the easier way is to go through Plugins and find the Miguel plugin (there is a Settings button under the name.)
You will then see all the options for setting up the plugin.
-
Miguel server environment
You can set which environment the plugin should connect to. If you don't receive specific instructions from us, leave it at Production. -
API key
This key is used to pair your e-shop with your Miguel account (see below). -
Asynchronous generating
You can switch to asynchronous book generation mode. If you don't receive specific instructions from us, leave it at turned off.
In order for Miguel to work, you need an API key, which you create in the Miguel administration in
the Miguel Settings > API Keys section. You can name it for
example woocommerce
. You can use the button next to the text to copy it (point 2. in the following picture).
Insert this key into the plugin settings:
All you have to do is save the changes. And you’re done.
Now the plugin should be connected to Miguel and all that's left is to create products and sell them.
