Usage

In order for Miguel to work, you need to create products in the e-shop, create titles in Miguel, and upload files to them (files are uploaded in Miguel's administration and stored in Miguel's repository, files are not uploaded to the e-shop).

After paying for the order, the customer receives an email sent by Miguel (the template and SMTP can be set in Miguel's administration). In this email, the customer will receive links to download the book in various formats. For registered users, there is a new tab in their profile Purchased e-books:

Orders

Orders will appear on Miguel side immediately after creating. Order can be delayed sometimes and will appear a little bit later (max 10 minutes). When order does not appear even after 10 minutes please contact us.

Products

After creating a product on Prestashop for an e-book or audiobook, it is advisable to select Virtual product (point 1 in the following image).

Pairing a product with a title in Miguel is done using the product code (point 2 in the following figure). To ensure it works properly, you need to create a title in Miguel’s administration with the same identifier and upload a file to it.

You don’t need to upload a book to Prestashop, it is uploaded to Miguel, so leave the following blank. If you upload the format, Miguel won't use it.

After publishing the product, creating the title in Miguel and uploading the file, the book should be ready for sale.
